Preferred Customer Program

The Preferred Customer Reward Points Program allows you to earn points for certain actions you take on the site, such as making purchases and submitting reviews.

The Preferred Customer Program online is in no way related to Rewards/Points obtained in our Store Fronts Locations.

Benefits of Preferred Customer Points for Registered Customers

Once you register you will be able to earn and accrue reward points, which are then redeemable at time of purchase towards the cost of your order. Rewards are an added bonus to your shopping experience on the site and just one of the ways we thank you for being a loyal customer.

Earning Preferred Customer Reward Points

Points are earned for the following actions:

  • Making purchases ($1 = 1 Point) — every time you make a purchase you earn points based on the price of products purchased and these points are added to your Preferred Customer Reward Points balance.
  • Registering an Account with HouserShoes. (100 Points)
  • Subscribing to Email-Alert for the first time. (100 Points)
  • Review Submission (10 Points) — Earn points for submitting approved product reviews.
    This reward maximum is set at 100 Possible points.

Preferred Customer Reward Points Exchange Rates

The value of Preferred Customer Reward Points is determined by an exchange rate of both currency spent on products to points, and an exchange rate of points earned to currency for spending on future purchases.

Redeeming Preferred Customer Reward Points

Preferred Customer Reward Points are redeemable at checkout. If you have accumulated enough points to redeem them you will have the option of using points as one of the payment methods. The option to use Preferred Customer Reward Points and/or the dollar balance will be shown to you in the Payment Method area of the checkout. Redeemable Preferred Customer Reward Points can be used in conjunction with other payment methods (i.e. credit cards, gift cards, ect.).

Preferred Customer Point redemption are in 100 Point increments. You will not be able to use your Preferred Customer Reward Points until you accrue the minimum number of points.(100 Points = $5)

***Reward Points are redeemable ONLINE ONLY.

***No combination of discounts may exceed more than 50% of the original product(s) purchase price.

***Reward points are NON Refundable, and can not be redeemed for cash.

***Reward points can not be used to purchase eGift Cards.

***eGift Card balance will not be transferred into Reward Points at time of purchase.

 

Preferred Customer Reward Points

  • 100 Points = $5
  • 200 Points = $10
  • 300 Points = $15
  • 400 Points = $20

Managing My Preferred Customer Reward Points

You can review your Preferred Customer Reward Points at any time through your Customer Account. From your account you will be able to view your total points (and currency equivalent), minimum needed to redeem, whether you have reached the maximum points limit and a cumulative history of points acquired, redeemed and lost. The history record will retain and display historical rates and currency for informational purposes. The history will also show you comprehensive messages regarding points, including expiration notifications.

Preferred Customer Reward Points Never Expire!

Until recently Reward Points had an expiration date of 90 days from the point they are awarded. If you receive any correspondence that dictates otherwise please give us a call. This is a known issue that our developers are working to fix. Your feedback is appreciated.

Note: You can sign up to receive email notifications each time your balance changes. This option is found in the Preferred Customer Reward Points section of the My Account area.

Houser Shoes may change the Houser Shoes Rewards rules, regulations, benefits, conditions of participation, or point levels for rewards, in whole or in part, at any time without notice, even though changes may affect the value of the points already accumulated. Houser Shoes may change or terminate, withdraw, or cancel any reward, increase the points required for any reward, modify or regulate the transferability of rewards or benefits, institute or add reward blackout dates or limit the number of rewards for use by any one individual on any one purchase. Houser Shoes may, at any time, terminate or modify the Houser Shoes Rewards program and program rules without any further obligations to members.

Abuse of the Houser Shoes Preferred Customer Program, including the sale or barter of accrued reward points, product, points or promotional offers, using multiple Rewards accounts in an effort to abuse the Houser Shoes Preferred Customer Program, and any misrepresentation of fact relating thereto or other improper conduct as determined by Houser Shoes in its sole judgment, may result in cancellation of the member’s account, future disqualification from program participation, and forfeit of any unused points.
